A 400/500mm f2.8/f4 the same quality as the DA*300 and a working up-to-date teleconverter!
Anything longer than 300mm really - sadly lacking at the moment

1. A DA* 400mm f4 (with same AF system as the 18-135mm)
2. A DA* 5:1 65mm macro with twin flash
3. A DA* 70-200mm f2.8 (with same AF system as 18-135mm)
4. (allowed this as it's not a lens) .. DA* 1.7x teleconverter to use with the 400mm.
Maybe a chance with 1, 3 & 4 ... but 2 is just wishful thinking.
Actually they are all probably just wishful thinking .. so I will just keep my Canon gear for the time being.

1. 80-400mm zoom
To be honest, I have all the other lenses I need and the range is just fine for my requirements.
Although we could argue for various longer options, even if they were made the cost would be out of my range.

I'd like to see them weather seal some of the lenses they already have.
DAs and the ltd range. I would think that this is technically possible although perhaps it wouldn't make commercial sense.

Here are some ideas:
* Pentax SMC DA* 12-24mm 2.8 WR
* Pentax SMC DA* 85mm 1.4 WR
* Pentax SMC DA* 500mm 4.0 WR
* Pentax SMC DA* 100mm 2.8 Macro WR III (truly weather sealed and the lens doesn't extend)
Heck, they should just make WR lenses from this point on and bank their marketing on it. Seriously. If they can do it on a 18-55 and a 50-200, I do not see why they couldn't do it for the others.
Imagine a 35mm 2.4 WR that still performs as it is but is just a bit more expensive but is WR.

DA* 135mm 1.8
A modern version of the old classic A* manual lens. I can't think of anything else.
