These are great. I did not realise that the MX1 is so good. Mind you it is the photographer that creates the image in the first place. Excellent.

Your comment on the this shot, it was the fourth athlete who pulled up early on and was walking off, hence why she is in Cox's lane at the moment.
I was lucky as I have a media pass, so managed to avoid the crowds. For the athletics we were in a stand right at the end. Sadly the light was awful for the shots Very bright sunlight from overhead so very contrasty and difficult to get good shots of the runners.
The Pole Vaulters and long jumpers were far easier with the town hall covering some of the strong sunlight.

Well it seems that some fine examples of Sports shots on here.
So with that in Mind, here are some I took today at the Great City Games in Manchester.

Oh, Caj, just to let you know, it will work with any of your lenses as long as the back element does not protrude from the back of the lens. The F4 message is only a guideline to ensure accurate AF.

As an aside, I looked at my Tamron 17-50 F2.8 and decided it is not worth trying as the back element does protrude somewhat.

I paid full whack at SRS. Mind you if I did not buy it then I would have missed some shots. Still at full price it is well worth it. It is a great converter.

Stunning shots there. I love the first, fourth, sixth and seventh shots.

Football does that to people. I could mention certain teams as well and it would be removed too.

The DA*50-135mm and HD-DA 1.4x converter is a rather good combination.
