Just got hold of these two - in a lucky deal.

Anyway I'm saving for a macro and a DA* atm. so I'm putting these two up for sale.

1) 50mm A F1.4 - lens is optically in perfect shape. No signs on glas whatever - no fungus - nothing. On the outside a small dent on the fliter holder (filter can be turned on - but a bit tight) Other than that the lens is very clean and works smoothly.

2) Pentax SMC F 70-210 1:4-5.6 - Lens and glass in very good condition. No signs on the glass - no fungus. Outisde is very nice only a few marks of use.

I havent done research on the lenses but are thinking of asking £100 for the zoom and same for the 50mm lens.

Im open to offers.

I live in Copenhagen so postage to EU and UK is 10£.....

I will post pictures later.

Now that you have mentioned the sky being blown out and pale/white i can see the areas you mean.Hopefully get some reading done(maybe even look in the instruction manual)this weekend and have a practice with the manual settings to combat the problems you have highlighted.
Manuals are always good to read

Keep posting your results!

3 good photos. #2 is my favorite.

Overall I think you did good. What you could improve is mainly to play with the aperture to avoid the sky to get blown out. Some highlights are blown in #1 and 3 and the sky is a bit pale/white.

Number #2 is a very good composition - but technically a difficult shoot to preform - you shoot in to the sun...

The left gets a bit dark....but overall some very good ones for a first walk.

I'm pretty sure Kim C from this forum got one. Check his profile to locate his website - you could probably download it from there...

Could you use a TC on a DA* lens? Would you loose the sdm function completely?

Anyone tried to use a TC on the new lenses????

Picked it all up last night. Both lenses in pretty good condition.

Haven't had time to play with it so far - just a few test shots....looked good.

The body came with a flash - have to part with both

But still it seems to be a very good price for both lenses.....

I recently sold an M50/1.4 (not as desirable as the A version) with a little fungus on it for £56, see: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320152788107

Based on this, and what I've noticed others fetching, I would imagine the A-50mm would double your £45 outlay on its own - good find!
Thanks - I just phoned the seller - and arranged to pick it up tonight....I just hope it is with no fungus and that the zoom works fine.

I'm tempted to put it all on ebay - to get some more om my current £300 i got so far.

I will let you know if I made the deal

I did some search yesterday - to look up a pentax macro - as asked for in my other thread...

Funny thing - I always find something interesting.

I found a ME Super - with a 50mm A 1:1.4 and SMC PENTAX-F ZOOM 1:4-5,6 70-210 mm

All - for £45.

It looks like a good steal - I believe the 50mm goes for around the same price on ebay these days? Not sure about the zoom or the camera?

I might be tempted to pick it up and sell some of my other 50mm lenses.

I got a 50mm A and M lens- both 1:2......Is the 1.4A a better choice?

For first shots - I find them pretty good.

Not sure about the scenes, but overall you show some skills to pick out decent ones.

I like the mill shot the most. Nicely executed.

The lake shoot your sky is a bit blown out - might need to play with the aperture...

Keep them coming - and welcome to the forum.
