I use the Manfrotto 055Xpro - very good tripod. I really like the quick shift you can do with the center column - very easy - just push one button and you can rotate it 90 degrees.

For most use i prefer the midi ball head. Its very easy to adjust and gives you flexibility. Its still strong enough to hold the K10D and some big lenses.

I think you can get this combo for around £200 in most shops...

Yup - that sure was a bargain.

The 50mm did go cheap...only 63£ Was one on yesterday for 99!

The Zoom just went for 102£

So overall - I made myself around 120£ on this deal - still having the camera (ME super which will end on ebay shortly)..... (read I'm quite pleased)

Now I'm starting to figure if I want a DA* instead of a macro....this deal boosted my LBA a bit....

Ok a few shots.

Done in 70, or 210mm focal length. All in maximum aperture. I pushed the lens as much I could.

Iso 400 - and shutter around 1/30-1/8.....check exif data....

All shot in RAW and converted in pentax photo browser. Nothing done to correct the images. Auto WB and so.....

Haven't thought about that. But my bid was prior to my posting - I only made a low bid - to sneak it home if possible. As stated elsewhere my selling was to fund a new DA* and macro lens.
