I just had a danish magazine this week. They had an article about photokina.

They state that Pentax will show their new K2000D - entry level camera as response to Canon and Nikon 1000D and D40/60.

According to the article it will feature the K10D processor, but no chance of grip, and AA batteries. It will be smaller in size than the K200D. (I would personally have loved a K20D with 7 fps, faster AF and better iso preformance.)

Nice shots. How is the handling of this lens compared to the sigma 180 and the pentax 100?

I'm wondering to sell my 105 to replace with pentax or the 180? Is it worth it?

In fairness, this is about educating the judges.

I quite agree. It just seems that those popping in do not take the time to visit the forum as well.

If we had the competition in the forum - the new persons would probably have a higher chance of actually reading what had happend before here. Or that is my hope.

At first I liked the new competition style. It seemed that we had new persons joining the competitions. Only thig missing - the comments.....and that is killing the competition completely. Thats is my purpose by entering.

Lets bring it back the way it was so we people who join will know how we do this competition...

Nathan - thanks for the link. Looks very interesting, but I might need something longer.

I have been looking at an Infrared trigger. I have chatted with another dane who uses it on his Sigma 500 - and it works quite ok. I'm going to try it this weekend.

G - thanks for setting the test up. I was not able to try out myself last night. I hope I will have some more time this weekend to play around.

I'm going to use my flash with the Ezybox hotshoe softbox. The results I have had so far are extremely good.

On tuesday I have to shoot the employees for a company. So this weekend I need to play alot

Ok thanks both for the detailed explanation.

What happens to the flash output of the 540 if I use the FN button to dial down the flash output of the pop up flash?

Will the power output from the 540 dial down as well? If that happens would I be albe to set it up manual to increase the power of the 540 while keeping the low output on the pop up?

The more advanced Pentax DSLRs can fire the "wireless" flashguns using the built-in flash. G
So I have to use the pop up flash (I use a K10D)??

I just want to use the 540 off camera - not in combination with any other flash. Will this change your answer?
