Couldn't decide whether to enter the comp with any of these, or which image, if any, was 'the one'. Feel free to comment and be brutally honest.
One of my first shots with the K10D 30, second exposure.

2 long exposures and one flash combined the old fashioned way.

straight forward long exposure.

This next one was heavily cropped (quickly grabbed with a wide angle) so not much use for printing.

More useful, uncropped image a few minutes later (correct lens) but less impact maybe.

They are all beautiful and competition worthy. For me nr 1 (fabulous light) and nr 4
(spooky atmosphere, but needs a bit cropping lower half) would have been podium candidates.
But thats just me of course. To summarize: You should have entered

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Thanks Guys,
Personally I like number two on technical grounds because I know what went into it but I think the composition could be better.
And I am gutted that number 4 is such low quality/low resolution, because that could have been a nice print. Good idea to crop it higher Martin, seems obvious now!

Despite being a designer and having a camera since 1980 I still have zero confidence in my own stuff... I think that in my business if it's flawed it's not good enough... so I just see flaws. I'm going to enrol in a Photography course at my local Art college and see if that helps me chill out.
