Nice shots. How is the handling of this lens compared to the sigma 180 and the pentax 100?

I'm wondering to sell my 105 to replace with pentax or the 180? Is it worth it?

I really can't see any discernable difference in picture quality between the Pentax DFA-100 and the Sigma 105. The Pentax is lighter and easier to use, which is a big plus in my opinion. You can even include the Tamron 90mm which is comparable with the Sigma 105, mine is anyway which is an older all metal version. All 3 are optically excellent IMO.

I wouldn't really compare the 105 and 180 Sigmas, optically they are very good, but they both have thier good and bad points. Such as weight and working distances. I wouldn't sell the 105 and replace it with the 180, I would use both equally.

If the differences between the Si105 and the Pe100 are significant to you then switch but you have to ask yourself is it really worth it.

I will be selling the Sigma 105 in a couple of weeks time once I have finished playing with it and doing comparisons. hope this helps.

The colour in those shots is just fantastic, are you doing anything to them or is that the K20D at work again.

Thats just the K20 at work. All I do is a little cropping.

Packaged weight will be around 750grms Postage will be AU$25 + AU$17 to insure. Not cheap i'm afraid. I would be looking for around AU$400 for it. Boxed with case and all its documentation + hood, As new.

I'm not ready to let it go just yet though.
