Really fascinating set of shots and all very well photographed.
Agreed, particularly like the ones I would call studies.

This week is metal week. This weeks competition is up and open for entries. Photographs can have been taken anytime but must have been taken with a Pentax camera.
The winner will have to set and judge the followings weeks comp.

A beautiful contemplative set Bill. Lovely description/explanation to guide us in.
I like them all but it is the more parred back ones (Not that any are busy) that seem to really draw me in, No. 2 being my personal favourite followed by 6 and 8. Just love those subtle colours and shapes in the sea in 2. All very well composed and considered.

It is probably widely know but, just in case. Below is a link on how to and reasons to adjust AF points and size. I have a much simpler version on my K-S2 but it does make a difference.

Pentax themselves did publish some comparative shots taken with both the 11-18 and the 12-24. Goodness knows how you'd find them but, they are around somewhere. The differences were small but there as I remember. If you can live with his style this guy runs through the lens against an even more expensive Fuji lens. It does look impressive.

I recently had my first wet clean on my K-S2 performed by Jessops. They gave it a couple of goes as I wasn't totally happy after the first one. Nice to have a clean sensor back and no problems to report.
I'm not brave enough to do my own clean.

A beauty. What level of de-ghosting did you use?
