For what its worth: Just come back from Safari - Last year took the K20 and caught some good images (11 made it to the PPG!) This year, took the K7 and must agree, the results were nowhere as good - quite disappointing in fact. Deliberating about keeping the K7 and maybe buy a second K20?

With careful use, "Normal" looking images can be captured using a fisheye. Just be careful to keep feet and elbows out of the picture That looks almost like a normal photo, why are the trees not curving inwards?

I see you are an LX fan - as am I. I was wondering if you could help re finding a company/ give any advice on finding replacement NiCad batteries for my LX motor drive battery packs. One battery pack has given up the ghost and no longer retains a charge. The other is of a similar age - so I may as well go and get them both a new lease of life

I understand it's no longer considered a RTA but a RTC. Substitue Accident with Collision!British Police seem treat all RTA as crime scenes - whether fatal or not. End result - big delays, lots of huffing and puffing etc. Years ago, in times when life appeared to be simpler, they'd sketch the scene, runs a tape measure over the skid marks etc, photograph it all and get the road open again asap.

As stated earlier in the thread - my K7 is disappointing in that department
Just a thought, but as Jack stated, for the money, the camera should work right out of the box. Just wonder why Pentax included the ajustment feature - unless they know the cameras have the focus probs. Do "Other Makes" have similar focus ajustment features?
