Enjoy - Mine had its first birthday yesterday. I'd never owned an SLR before and found it easy to use. I've taken about 25,000 shots in the first year mind

They have sherpas in the Lake District now ?
Aye - was going to say poorly paid ones but guinness costs a bloody fortune in Buttermere and the Langdales.

Looks nice - quite tempted by one of these - I quite like the idea of having a few small primes instead of the various zooms.

I'll look forward to seeing some more shots with it.

XP usually stored it as 'wallpaper1.bmp' - hidden file though so you would have to be able to view hidden files to find it though.

Just tried it and like it. I already have PTGui and it seems very similar. I've got a few big stitches from the tops of various points in the Lake District so I'll have a longer go with it later. I prefer panos with the 50mm to be honest but only maybe carry three lenses when walking - Most decent walks my mate tends to carry the tripod in exchange for 2 points of guinness so no hassle weight wise.

Some beautiful pictures in there already.

Sorry bit new to this - entered a mono landscape but it was at Ullswater. Realised the comment about water so deleted it. Then thought a lake isn't the sea? or is it? Either way I'm assuming I'm stuffed now for trying to enter as I'd already submitted it - for a minute or two

I've never heard of them..

I'm another user of the k-x. I tend to use the centrepoint on most occasions. Sometimes I use it on the 11 auto and have never really had an issue with it. Would I like to see the focus points? Yes, but i'll forgive it due to its all round ability to price ratio. I got mine with the 55-300 kit lens which seems nice but I tend towards wide angles and a Sigma 50 is as long as I go.

Cheers Jim

I'd updated it to the previous one and thought this latest was just for bigger cards. Having read your link I've noticed the catch all phrase "improve general stability". I'll give it a go and see how I get on.
