We had two decent Dells in the office which we thought were great - strangely enough - a few weeks out of their warranty they suddenly keeled over within a couple of days of each other.

I've had a couple of Samsung Q330's through the office and I liked them. Nicely built, good spec and looks nice - should get one round the £500 mark. They get a good review as well.

I've had no real issues with the HP's we've had. I have a Toshiba 600 Portege which is nice but flexes too much - very efficient though.

Quite cross with myself - I was offered it for £850 (inc cashback) at Christmas by the firm that deals with all my IT ordering through the year. I can't see me getting it that cheap for quite a while now.

Is the 9th of April a set date? Should able to manage that - newbie to photography but been Scottish for nearly 50 years so can cope with the language (and I always buy my round).

Looks nice - good colour and a nice set. I keep on seeing shots with velvia - hope I've got that right - which looks nice.

Cheers guys - I'll get a roll of film and have a dabble with the 35-105. If its fun I'll have a look round for other lenses. Nice to have something different.

I have a couple of other older lens as well - the M 135mm and the A 35-105 f3.5 which might be the best choice.

Bought a K-X last year as a first SLR of any kind. I was then able to pick up a Program-A for £30 purely because it had a Pentax-A f1.7 50 attached to it. Undecided what to do with it but the 50 is back on it as I treated myself to the Sigma 50.

I'm enjoying the photography so much I'm thinking of getting some film and having a play. I just wondered what the Program-A was like and what film I should get. I only do landscapes so it would just tag along with the other stuff.
