Not a lens I've ever used much but one of the few I have left so thought I should practice a bit with it. I quite like it as a wandering about sort of a thing. Not the best conditions this morning - saw a deer running through the woods on my way out to the in-laws so stopped. All I got was the trees

Once I was at the in-laws had a wee play doing some flowers.

Not a bad wee lens and one I need to use more often. Start work for the summer on Monday on the Ullswater Steamers so might not get much of a chance to use it.

Like the third best. A lovely subject.

Back using the Pentax again for my wee wanders - mostly with the 16-50

Just a quick dog walk up to High Cup Nick with the boy and his grandad and back to Dufton for a pint or two. A good spot and I think it will merit coming back and spending a bit of time trying out different angles. Couple of interesting trees that might prove useful in supplying a nice foreground. A bit dull today hence the monos.

Cheers Tim

I was due to be in the North east with three mates doing a weekend of coastal stuff but had to cancel again due to the old lad collapsing. Full time care home is beckoning which is probably going to be for the best.

All nice but the pheasant is a belter - background makes it.

thanks for the new comments. A bit of a thread resurrection there

To be honest due to my father being a bit poorly I haven't managed to get out much at all. Couple of days away using the Nikon and that was it. Just getting back to using the Pentax and hopefully a day out with it tomorrow.

And another one not previously seen before. I have a similar shot on my flickr stream but when I was editing the folder on my HDD the other day I looked at this one and preferred it.

No2 is my favourite - beautiful silhouette. I was down there the other evening.

Do you wind down the window and lean out?

I love all your 'shot from above' images. Something different and the lens works beautifully.

The DA40 and the DA70 are just over a year old. Both boxed with pouches and caps and in great condition.

DA40 - £210 inc RMSD
DA70 - £320 inc RMSD

D-FA 100mm WR comes with cap and pouch. Might have the box in the loft if needed. I just don't take macro although I did take one of my favourite landscape shots with it (funnily enough on the 6th of Nov last year and not sure if its been used since)

D-FA 100mm WR - £325 inc RMSD

Sigma 50 f1.4 must be two years old - bought new by me. I think the case is somewhere but thats not confirmed and there is blutac on the outside of the base cap. Other than that its in very nice condition. I've probably taken no more than 100 shots with it and I don't think its even been on the K-5 as I preferred the FA31.

Sigma 50mm - £275 inc RMSD
