High Cup Nick

Back using the Pentax again for my wee wanders - mostly with the 16-50

Just a quick dog walk up to High Cup Nick with the boy and his grandad and back to Dufton for a pint or two. A good spot and I think it will merit coming back and spending a bit of time trying out different angles. Couple of interesting trees that might prove useful in supplying a nice foreground. A bit dull today hence the monos.

Super images but don't think the tinted is as "strong" as the B&W

I'd agree - I clicked on the wrong preset in LR4 and quite liked it but it doesn't really work as well as a straight mono. An interesting spot and one I'll be returning to at dawn fairly soon.

The first one is the standout for me Mark altough I suspect the sepia version would look equally powerful in pure mono. It must have been freezing up there in the High Pennines but the views over the Eden Valley would be worth it.
