Well this film has sat in my sadly neglected MX for the last 18 months since I got my K20.
I finally got round to developing it and scanning the neg.
I'd forgotten how grainy FP4plus was. But i quite like it for these.
I know they need cleaning up and some spot and scratch removal but I'd like a bit of C&C from our regular B&W users so I can improve.
Ta.
This one is crying out for a panoramic crop.

I like the lines in this one but it was a very sunny day and featureless sky. I think it needs a high contrast treatment?

I've already cropped this one. Does it need more contrast?

This is slightly cropped because I had to straighten it.....oops.

It was just the lines ans symmetry of this one that grabbed me.

Sorry Mike,
I'd forgotten people with your particular addiction. You and Clarkey must be propping up Pentax single handed.

I do agree it's a bit hard to swallow some of todays prices. Particularly as the prices jumped literally overnight.
The DA 35 was £289 a little over a year ago here, now it's £460+.
The 12-24 was £550 now £900 with similar stories for the 50-135 and 60-250. That's four lens sales I had planned to buy over a 2 year period that won't be happening now for Pentax. I've already picked up the Samsung 12-24 and 100 macro for a fraction of the Pentax prices and am now looking at Tamron and Sigma alternatives for the others. Perhaps they were a little underpriced before but I can't be the only one spending my money with other manufacturers now. That big a jump was a bad move and must be hurting them now.

To see if it recognises the drives plug them in and boot up with the original 80G system disk. Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools,Computer Management,Storage, Disk Management, and see if they come up there.
It is probably because they are unformatted.
Hopefully they will show up in the disk management menu and you should be able to select them and format them. I can't remember off the top of my head but you may have to select them and thr right click menu has some obscure command like "make partition active" before you can format it.
Once formatted you should be ok.
Good luck

In theory the larger sensor should allow much lower noise. However it depends on how many pixels they try to cram on to it.....

If I had the spare cash I'd be buying 645 lenses by the dozen off ebay now.

Like John, I've used them through Amazon without a problem.

You will need a wide angle lens. The kit lens seems to be the widest you have. I'd take the F 70-210 over the Tamron 70-300 if it suffers as badly from purple fringing as mine did! Along with the 100 macro and teleconverter that should cover most situations. A Polariser would be useful as you will be getting lots of sky and water in some of the shots. The fish eye could produce some interesting shots too along the coast or the hills of Kerry. A fast standard/wide could be useful for the evenings or inside some of the more atmospheric pubs. Even if you don't drink they are worth a visit in the evenings, especially if there's some live traditional music playing.
Things to see near Cushenden are the "rope bridge" even though it's steel cables these days. Giants Causeway, and the near by Bushmills distillery if thats your thing.
Just keep your eyes open along the coast road as there are lots of almost hidden gems.
In Kerry, well you're spoilt for choice. The coast, mountains and general scenery. If the sun shines it's beautiful and if (WHEN!) it doesn't it can be very dramatic. There is always the possibility of a spectacular sunset or stormy sky along the Kerry coast. And the light and views can change from minute to minute.
If you do like whiskey ( and even if you don't!) the best and smoothest ( and most expensive!) Irish whiskey is made at Middleton just outside Cork, which is not far from Kerry.

No real advantage in going for an OEM flash. They are usually much more expensive than equivalent 3rd party flashes. ( They are rarely made by the company name on the flash either!)
The only "advantage" is that the names match, and they will do what it says on the tin.
IMHO Metz are hard to beat.
