Likewise. Mine works fine, and is a lovely lens by the way.
Are you sure it's a pentax mount?
One of the older Nikon mounts "almost" works on a Pentax. ( pre AI? )

Taken with the Samsung version of the DFA100 macro.
I really like this lens, I think I'll finally be able to part with the M100 f4 macro now.

I have a miniwide II and I must say it is a lovely little lens( well not that little actually) I don't use it enough.

Bought a 40 Ltd from them about 6 months ago. Arrived wintin 3 or 4 days. No idea if it's a grey import or not as it had the usual international warranty paperwork etc.
Basically I'd use them again based on that experience.

That was quite an interesting article Matt. ( I never thought I'd say that about a crane article) They certainly are interesting looking machines. I didn't realise they were a Design Icon. If only I'd known a few weeks back I could have stuck it in the competition.

Here's another one of a crane.
I'll be buying a new film today I think.

Yes Pauly, FP4 plus is 125 ASA.
Like I said it was 18 months ago , before they started abusing Section 44, but nobody bothered me. Even when I was snapping aircraft on their approach to the Docklands Airport. I even snapped a couple of plod cycling past on their bicycles and all I got was a friendly nod.

I must say I was quite happy with most of my shots on this roll. I think I've become lazy since I went digital. You can snap away and have a quick look at the screen. If they're not right you can try again. Or even fix them when you get home as there is so much latitude with a Raw file. I think I took more care about composition and exposure compensation when I used film because the cost per frame was so much higher and it took up to a week to see the results. I think I'll stick some fresh batteries in my MX and blow the cobwebs off it again to try to lose some bad habits.

I must say I don't remember FP4 being quite so grainy but it is quite a while since I've used it. It may be something to do with sitting in my camerafor the last 18 months or possibly my scanner settings.
The negs look to be of good density so I don't think unserexposure is the problem and the chemicals were fresh.
In any case I quite like the grain for these shots as it gives the docklands a gritty look. I'd still be more than happy to use this for street photography but I'm glad I didn't take any portraits.
