At least we have a straight answer, we can deal with that.

Politics and sport are two areas that have no interest whatsoever for me.
John, Something we agree on, I would be interested in Politics and Sport but their rules are more confusing then here on Pentaxuser.

Sorted now anyway, so thanks.

Ah, that would explain why you've kept asking the question!

I think I've answered it now as above, but if that needs any clarification please let me know.
Yep got it in one, so to sum up, I am a Pentax user when I use say my Pentax 28mm f3.5 on my K-3, but stop becoming a Pentax user when I mount the same Pentax lens on my A7 even though I am still taking the photo with a Pentax.

Ever thought about becoming a Member of Parliament John.

Sorry but I don't know who you sent a PM too. But it wasn't me, nothing received.

Thank you John, that's a concise summary. It's a matter of common sense really.

For Marat, you seem to be a Sony user, the use of Pentax lenses might be incidental to that. I have no idea what the prospects are for finding a like-minded Sony forum, although I guess both ePHOTOzine and AP both have areas dedicated to that.
I am a Sony user in the fact that I own one Sony camera with one Sony lens, I am a Pentax user as I own three Pentax cameras and seventeen Pentax lenses.

When using my one Sony camera I use a large number Pentax lenses on said camera as these are best suited to my needs and budget.

For you to turn around and tell me to go away and join a different forum as I am a "Sony User" as if it's some dirty word, is bang out of order and offensive,

Talk about being to made feel welcome.

I asked a very simple question to which I have had not a single reply, if you had just said No, then that would have been fine, not a problem at all, but all we gave gad is huff and puff and no common sense at all.

That seems pretty clear to me, notwithstanding the spelling errors!

Pentax images only please, but obviously you can use Sigma or other lenses.

Using Pentax lenses on a Canon or something else would need to be in context of a Pentax related discussion, and linked to rather than posted direct
ly.

I post my non-Pentax images elsewhere, wherever they may be directly of interest. I particularly like the wide variety of Facebook groups that cater for almost anything we could imagine.
Sorry about this, but still a bit confused if I can post images taken with my Sony A7 which 90% are taken with Pentax lenses, as these images and the discussion would be Pentax related in the foremost.

Nothing in the rules state I can't, and nothing states what brand combination of body or lens is used as long as it's Pentax related.

I don't want to drag this thread out anymore then it already has, but a clear answer would be very much welcomed.

Didn't they say that in 2013? Not that I could afford anyway

Thank You Mike for Your answer, so the main conclusion is Pentax 50 - 135 will be best choice. Some people complained about some issues with SDM in Pentax 50 - 135 but if I good remember WEX gives 3 year guarantee
I think the SDM problems date from lens made before 2011 after that it was fitted with the newer motor but someone on here may know the facts and dates.

Selling my mint condition, as new, boxed and complete 50-135mm f2.8 lens, bought from WEX around 18 months ago and had very, very little use since,

The lens has no marks what so ever, optics are clear of any marks and no dust, currently away with work so will post some photos later if interested.

Looking for £450 which includes Royal Mail special delivery.

PayPal gift please.

I am looking to change from my 50-135mm to a 70-200mm f2.8 at the moment.

The Pentax is a fantastic lump of glass but just a bit to short for my needs now, and at the moment I can't afford to have both.

So if you are interested in a mint boxed and complete 50 -135mm lens, send me a PM. I know mike-p would want you to
