Selling my mint, boxed and complete Pentax Q7 with the 02 kit lens this set is in mint and fully working condition in its box.
Also included in the sale is the 01 standard prime lens, not boxed but with both front and rear caps and a really nice GOBE uv filter,
I love the Q system but I’m finding I’m using my MX-1 a lot more and this has been sat doing nothing for the last few months.

I’m looking for £340 but more then happy to listen to offers as I’m not truly sure where the price is,

I’ve decided to sell one of my K-01 camera kits bought really as a collectors item as I bought 3 different colours over the years, but have decided I really only need one?

The camera was bought new from srs and comes boxed and complete with everything that came with it originally, the camera and lens can only be described as in mint condition, a screen protector was fitted the very first day and this to is in perfect condition, the shutter count is just over 2300 and this particular camera has never left the house and is in 100% working order.

I will post some more photos if requested once the lighting improves.

As for price? I really don’t know, as haven’t seen a kit come up for sale like this in a long time and not much help with eBay either, so happy to take offers and advice in that regards,

I currently own 3 K-01’s and thought I’d P/x one of them along with a few bits and bobs towards a new lens at a well known camera store,

Anyway to cut a long story short myself and the sales manager started comparing the basics of the k-01 compared to more modern equivalents, large sensor with a great dynamic range, IBIS, weather sealed, superb build quality and not missing anything in the way of controls or features, it was only when we got to autofocus and video modes which to be fair still holds true with Pentax’s current cameras, all in a camera built 8 years ago.

The sales manager bought it from me for himself, the manager was still at school when the K-01 was first announced.

What’s the situation with Pentax lenses on other brand camera bodies being discussed on here and photos being shown?
I still have my Q’s but I no longer have a Pentax Dslr as I’ve moved totally over to mirrorless in which I do use a awful lot of Pentax lenses with them as the combination works really well, and I’m sure others do to after listening to other people on other forums, and thus keeping this forum moving in the right direction.

A superb lens and at what I think is a good price (I paid full retail for mine many years ago), unfortunately in certain circles people think Pentax is on the decline and with vultures circling above certain parties are buying and selling for silly prices for quick profits,
Personally I would wait to see what Pentax has in store for the K-3 upgrade and if it’s as good as it should be demand for Pentax glass will return.

Brings back memory’s, I worked at Peter Rogers as a apprentice photographer when I left school for many years,
A small, traditional, well run shop but unfortunately the prices reflect that also,
Definitely worth a visit if your ever passing through Stafford.
