Your right of course, you could say thanks to google PU would very the first port of call, but on the same first page there is another forum listed under PU as well.

So yes they will on a law of averages join PU first, but that is only part if it, you then have to keep them coming back and not going elsewhere, How are you going to do that? By shouting at them and telling them what they can and cannot mention?

I think with any business you do need to move with the times, adjust and adapt with the market to keep on attracting new customers, all I have seen in the last few months is the total opposite on here.

Now with the release of the new K-s1 we can see which market Ricoh/Pentax wants to be in, the younger, possible first time Dslr user, so now is the time to do the same.

As for the other forums, I cannot answer that, but put it this way if you asked a load of twenty something's if they wanted to join a forum with a relaxed attitude and a friendly openness to all thinks photography as a whole, or one that has many rules and guidelines that seem to change like the wind, which one to you think they will pick?
