Most modern switched mode chargers, including the Pentax charger for the K10D, are universal and can handle input voltages from 100 - 250v.

The buyer has had it since June anyway so I guess he's probably taken a few thousand shots and discovered any issues by now.

EDIT: Matt got in first . . again.

Improvements to sharpening and noise reduction seem impressive.

If you have version 1.0 installed, just run it. If you are not prompted that a new version is available there is a 'Check for Updates' option under 'Help' from the menu, or download it from here.

The muzak is totally unnecessary and I doubt that you've got the copyright owners permission to use it.

Thumbnails rather than a forced slideshow would be better too.

But how long :

Are you still saying deliveries at the end of July (2 weeks) :
This is what I am led to believe....

Chris
Weren't you 'led to believe' a March delivery date at some point Chris? It's been extended before, it can be extended again.

Pentax's promises seem to have more holes in than a colander.

Cheers,

Hopefully the Pentax gets a better write up than the Tokina -http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/lenses/tokina_1650_28_nikon/index.htm
The text of that report states that the lens was co-developed with Pentax, but how much of it?

The Tokina lens has no SDM AF motor.
The Pentax lens will have their now commonplace 'quick shift' mechanism for switching between AF and MF (I hope).
The Tokina requires the focus barrel to be moved back and forth.
The Tokina will not have the SMC coating.
The Tokina will probably not be available in Pentax mount.

So just how similar are they? Not very, I think.

To a certain extent Barrel/Pincushion distortion and CA are liveable with because they are both controllable in post-processing.

"Expected end of July" is the latest info from Chris at SRS.

He doesn't say which year though.
