Great Lens - Great Price - These go for around the £800 mark on Ebay
Well seems they are probably ` premium` price as a limited production , so are buying it LB for £ 800 ?

Fletcher 8 might be interested myself , as weighing up a Tamron 70-200 2.8, to add. Being new to Pentax , assume this lens is a rated `legacy` model having just read the reviews etc.

Fletcher can you please send me a photo by PM

Cheers,

Patrick

Nice set of autumnal shots Bob as a new member can I ask why dont posters add EXIF or state Camera/Lens info to give a better appreciation.Just asking what you used please Cheers, Patrick
Hi Patrick

All you need to do is download an exif viewer to your browser - there are many free ones on-line. Then just right click over the image and select view exif data.

This will work unless the exif data has been stripped when the image is uploaded.

Hi Carl PLEASE see my earlier post OK

Hi Carl, thanks for the photos , looking good & as sharp as I was seeking just hope this is the case when shooting more ` action ` & sports etc which I will be attempting. Equally, respect the DA*300 is the star performer for serious `sport`, but I wanted to add some extra reach with a TC ( budget wise and less lens) . However, no one seems to add much feedback, wonder if that is because most lens are not so fast therefore people don`t bother because of obvious degrades in quality or other compromise issues.

Cheers, Patrick

Thanks for all your comments. The sigma 70-200 f2.8 looks a good choice or Pentax 60-250 f4
If 200 is long enough for you - you should also consider the Tamron SP 70-200 2.8 - stunning lens - until a few month ago - these were £800 - now available for around £550. I bought one of these a few months ago and have been delighted with it's performance.

Hi, I am one of the new members by the way just learning more but looking to add the Tamron 70-200 ( 2. and you are saying its a good lens. Do you have any photos using it to direct me too please ? Also what TC would you add to K5ii to get some more reach. However, its not clear what works best or at all pentax is premium price but any idea how Kenko shapes up. Cheers, Patrick
