Time for some cleanup as I am allergic to keeping things I don't use around; although parting with the K7 will hurt
Basically I have two extra bodies (K7 and KS-1) and only need one - whichever sells first; the other will be withdrawn.

1. Pentax K7 - UK purchase, 4 years ago from Selfridges; in excellent condition, never needed any technical attention.
Comes with original body cap, hot shoe cap; practically brand new strap as I have never used it. No box.
Shutter count - 14,198.

GBP 110 body only; or GBP 135 with the kit lens.

2. Pentax KS-1 w 18-55mm - purchased this summer from Selfridges - 1.5 years warranty to go. Limited edition - white and lime. Box with all original contents /extra body matching strap.
Had an issue with the settings dial shortly after purchase. It was serviced under warranty by Johnsons Petopia. Works flawlessly since than. Very low shutter count, will check later today and update the post. GBP 210.

4. 55-300mm ED (non WR version) - purchased from another forum few months back. Replaced with a WR version so this needs to go. Excellent copy of the lens. Dare to say it's better than the one I bought. With original box, front and back caps and pouch. GBP 115.

5. SMC Pentax 1:2.5/135 - purchased from a forum member just few weeks back; as it usually happens, got another copy from my dad just last week. Having sentimental value, dad's one stays Mint condition - looks like it was barely used. - GBP 115. Happy to throw in the rubber hood.

Few images taken with it - think I do better with squirrels than people but just so you can get an idea what it can do in super amateur hands :

GBP 5-10 for postage within UK depending on preference and carrier for all items. Bank transfer, Paypal or cash if you're in London and prefer and face to face exchange.

Feel free to ask more questions - never sold any gear before so not sure if the descriptions aren't too limited.

All of the equipment was well taken care of

Yes, I am positive. Everything Amazon sells is legal import, as such, it is subject to the EU directive no 1999/44/EC - "Two-year guarantee applies for the sale of all consumer goods everywhere in the EU. In some countries, this may be more, and some manufacturers also choose to offer a longer warranty period...". 2 years is the guaranteed minimum. It does not matter whom you buy from - the guarantee comes from the legally obliged manufacturer, not the seller; unless you are buying from Ricoh directly, in which case seller = manufacturer

Everything sold in the EU has 2 year warranty. It's the law. No external terms and conditions can change that. AS for deals - the bigger you are the more likely you can afford to sell without or with tiny profit to draw customers in - and that is all they are doing.

We bought a bunch of KS2 for company use in the summer in the Middle East for less than 400 quid a pop from the official local Pentax distributor. Customs in Kuwait are 4% and there are no taxes. I'm sure the store made a decent profit on the cameras - they are not a charity. That gives us an idea of the price they pay for stock.

It will be the same for Amazon I'd imagine.

I was not arguing that his own work is any good. Did not bother looking. Good critics don't necessarily need to be good in a particular profession. He does have a point though. Whether he applies the 'wisdom' to himself...that's another story

I could not agree more with him. We discussed it on these forums before I believe. So little of what's trendy out there in terms of street photography is just really poor photography of semi interesting subjects, often way too post processed to cover up lack of skill that it's mind boggling how wide spread the acceptance for such poor standards has become. A lot of it is probably due to how Internet works - self promotion has become easier than ever and once you've gathered a bit of an audience, at times your peers have no choice but to accept that you're considered an artist - even though it hurts...

Dunno...all of street photos I ever actually liked came from two forums - this one, and one other....not from so called, often self proclaimed, 'pros'
