I really like these cracking pictures, thank you for inspiring me to go take some shots in a Church, with a tripod

Superb shots, all. Heron in flight is my favourite!

Re-visited the English Ivy strangled trees to find they are being saved/relieved.

K1 mkII DA* 11-18mm and old flash and PP in RT. Using the "Local Adjustments" utility within Rawtherapee is proving very useful indeed.

Love these shots, wild flowers and a fox cub what's not to like, the dark adds to the scene.

Thanks to you both, I did say to swmbo it's a Greenfinch but then doubted myself.

I can't be sure what this fella is, maybe a young Yellowhammer?;

This chap hiding in the foliage has his lunch;

Quick walk before the wet weather, took the K1 & DA*12-18mm at 18mm, the old wrecks are still hanging around. I noticed that part of the wreckage was sticking up out of the sea like a wooden cross, not quite as obvious in the pics maybe should have played more on it.

In Black & White

These "snaps" are very good love the poppy one! Nice bokeh.

Thank you for the positive criticism/tips and help, here is one with slightly lifted contrast, but yes I agree and I must spend more time playing in post. My own criticism is the vignetting and have played with using Rawtherapee's 'Local Adjustments' (New Beta dev release) to lighten up the edges. But I'm sure there is another way, just playing with it. Contrast lifted using both RT and Gimp, as I noticed sometimes in Gimp lifting the contrast can really mess with the Histogram. Cheers.
