It's worth googling the history on this one, here on the river Plym, Cattewater, in Plymouth, I think it's since moved though;

IIRC it's there to remember Rhino bones found in a nearby cave/quarry whatever....

Beautiful set, hard to pick favourites but mine are number 1 and 14.
The woods here are busy in these heatwaves, people walking dogs and keeping in the shade.

I have a few old shots that I thought I would share, nothing spectacular but hopefully nice to look at.

1. Boringly blue sky shot for a postcard.

So many stories there, so many. Excellent images. The sky in #1 is impressive. Was that SOOC?
Not quite, a small amount of contrast added nothing more, but the sky was brilliant blue at the time, I just wanted the foreground to come alive more.

thank you for the comments guys.

As for number 3: yes, the iron post is a distraction. I don't feel it adds anything to the composition. Was it unavoidable?
I agree with the comments.
Don't be afraid to crop to a different shape if need be
Here is what I've done - hope you don't mind ?

No problem, yeah it is avoidable and I have other shots without the pole, also an abstract one taken a while back close up through the 'eye' of the 'needle' / hole! thanks for the comments peeps.
