The bright, contrasty conditions this morning were quite difficult to deal with but the trees were just so beautiful - so sorry if this is an overload

I have no objection to an overload of trees, especially these ones.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Shade, blissful shade. It's never looked so good - or felt so welcome! A lovely set.

Beautiful set, hard to pick favourites but mine are number 1 and 14.
The woods here are busy in these heatwaves, people walking dogs and keeping in the shade.

A great opening photo is 1 especially when viewed large, crystal is that leaf bathed in beautiful light and no 3 also for me as the trunks and branches organise their shade. great set

Thanks for all the comments - Trees are one of those subjects that so often look great in the flesh but less so on the screen or print, part of the enjoyment of photography (for me) is improving technique and challenging myself with subjects that I'm not particularly good at.
