One of these days I will get the Pentax 100m Macro, but in the meantime I have read on previous threads you can get some pretty good effects reverse mounting the 50mm 1.7 FA.

: Would you, can you do the same with the 50mm 1.4, which I now have (presuming yes) and if so, what accessory/bit do I need to get to reverse mount the lens, as you can tell I have never approached this before!

LumiQuest's Soft Screen is a new diffuser designed for use with the built-in pop-up flash of many 35mm film SLRs and D-SLRs. It attaches to your camera via the hotshoe and sits under the integral flash to provide a diffused light source and take the harshness out of your flash pictures.

Has anyone used one of these, if so were results positive or not? Lilly
I've got one, but haven't really used it much. I'll report back ASAP.

I believe PeteKD has one too.

well I did my first and last wedding several years ago with the still wonderful Z1. A fellow mate of mine was commissioned to do them an album and it was his first too, so asked me to come along as back-up and predominately do the candids which was my 'thing'. Well, all went accordinging to plan and we must have run off several dozen 36exp (just to be on the safe side!) right thru' to reception, pics were AOK - but the sad end to this tale ...............they divorced in 6 months I don't think I cd be arsed with all that again..............and no-one propositioned me
Its a very brave man/woman to do such things, (weddings I mean)!

Oh he is so gorgeous and looks like he will live up to his name. Love the light that comes from beneath him. Did you take it near a table lamp?
