Ahh I love kittens
But trouble - you can see it comming; doesn't like having his photo taken as it looks like he's giving you the middle finger (or is that claw) insult

Oh he is so gorgeous and looks like he will live up to his name. Love the light that comes from beneath him. Did you take it near a table lamp?

I have to agree with John - this photo would sell and sell, poster, postcard whatever. Find a publisher quick - make your first(?) million on the strength of your stroppy kitten

lighting arrangement:
two vivitar 283's / auto mode (one yellow, one pink), both with diffuser attachments (vivitar wide angle adpters)/one large sheet of white paper.
ist ds2 set to manual.
paper (reflector, good eye Lilly) layed out on my dining room table, in front of large northfacing window . flashunits at 45 deg angles to the subject.
shooting at eye level with the outside window as a backdrop & backlight.
lights were (eye level to subject) as close to subkect as possible using mini stands.
chicken for co-opeation (Cats will sell YOUR soul for chicken...)
obviously a little touch up in pse

When my now overgrown monstors were kittens I'd never be able to get them to stay still for long enough to get that shot (even with Chicken) .
