I know I've only been a member here for nine months or so, and obviously that's not long enough to work these things out.. but I noticed something handy, which I thought I'd pass on. When you get a new post on a long thread, click the yellow file icon next to the black arrow...




.. and it takes you to the next new post in the thread since your last visit, even handier if an old thread starts up again. A little thing I know, but someone may find this little snippet useful..

Hi Matt,

the DL does this.. which I found out accidentally, when switching the "playback display method" to "image and histogram" (which is a godsend in itself). I agree it's a very useful function. It flashes black over white (over exposed and (I seem to remember) white over black for under exposed.. too late to check now.. )

is that where it shows the over exposed parts of the image, say bright sky when metered for land etc... or something else?

Hi, and welcome to the boards..

I think you'll probably find that that model doesn't take a 2 gig card. I had a quick look and only found mention of a 256 mb card as an optional extra, which may be the biggest you can use. I stand to be corrected by someone who knows what they're on about of course..
