you can print off the manual from the PDF file. That's the biggest benefit of PDFs.
Open the PDF file, and click F1. This will open the Help menu. Click on Printing (fifth one down) in the left hand pane, and then click on Printing Adobe PDF documents on the right. This will explain how to resize the pages and set up the document for printing.
It may take a bit of messing around to start with, but it will work. That's what the Pentax manuals are produced from.
Hope that helps,
EDIT: Welcome to the forum as well.

IIRC, Pentax shared their stall last year with Tamron.. but that's not happening now, I assume.

this board uses a code called BB code, and it doesn't have the functionality to do this.. at least it's not been set up by the admin team.
You could always, design the image to contain a text box to the right of the image, and then upload it as a complete image.
If you were doing this for a website, then are a couple of different ways using either HTML or CSS coding. If it is for a website, ask further and I'll go through it with you.

it's nice to see some others using Pentax DSLRs with Linux.
this uses dcraw, but as yet doesn't support the K10D PEF, although it supports DNG..

I've just downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I'll do that later, and let you know the results.
I've just downloaded SilkyPix 3 to try. Hopefully it's better than the replacement for the Pentax Studio update, which to be honest, I don't understand...

Matt,
it says it does a couple of things differently to other mainstream converters,
http://www.rawtherapee.com/usman.html
colour boost for example, using the CIELAB colour space as opposed to the RGB cs. I have no idea what they're on about though.
I was looking around for a new Linux/Open Source RAW app, as my RSE 2006 keeps crashing for some reason, even after reinstalling it a couple of times. Perhaps it had some obsolescence written into it, for when Lightroom was launched.

WOW.. it's a bit different to my old AF200..
I've been taking a few shots around the house, and it's brilliant. Obviously using a flash is done in lower light than normal. With my DL, the pop-up flash is OK, but the AF does tend to hunt a bit, unless you focus on an eye.. and then it's in a well lit room. That AF assist spot beam is fantastic. I took it into the bathroom (I can get it just about pitch black in there) no lights, and it took a perfectly exposed picture after focussing as quickly as any other shots I'd taken. Of course, it being dark, I didn't know what I'd taken a picture of until afterwards.
Definitely money well spent, and a thumbs up to Park Cameras, for a fast turn around.

a big list of (mainly) open source converters and image editors.
I'm reading up on this at the moment, so I'll use this thread to add other stuff as I come across it.
