Interesting shot, Paul. I like the geomatric nature of it and your post processing B&W work.

Man, look at that sky. The first shot is quite epic, city and suburbia.

Is there a viewin' area from that tower in the city, on the left side?
Thats the Centrepoint Tower and yes it has a viewing area all the way around it.

BTW, Great shots Lance, its amazing how we Sydneysiders take it so much for granted
I have a Harbour cruise coming up in a few weeks time, I hope the weather is as accomodating.
Thank you very much for the nice comments, Clarky.

Yes, we definitely do take all this for granted. It really is an amazing view from up here.

We still have to do a meet up one day. What are your movements? I am free weekends or even through the week, if that is easier.

thank you for the nice comments, Paul.

Yes, the tower is called Centrepoint Tower and there is a brilliant view from up there as well as a revolving restaurant.

nice pics lance, the water looks like my local beach (sidmouth)ha ha in my dreams,
Thanks for the kind words, Scott.

There are wonderful beaches to swim at all along this particular walk. On a summers day, it is really sensational to be able to just jump in and cool off.

Sydney is definitely one of the most picturesque Cities in the world.

I took these on a walk from a place called "The Spit" to a beach suburb called Manly on the northern side of Sydney itself. About a 9km walk through mainly bush takes you on a route adjacent to the waters of Middle Harbour and is quite spectacular. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't done it.

All taken with the K-7 + DA17-70 and polariser. I am very impressed by the DA17-70.

Kleptomania? I have Kleptomania, but I'm taking something for it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

You do not have to be number 1, 2 or even 3 to survive. Look at all the car companies that are around that are not even in the top 20. Subaru do quite well and they are not in the top 5 car sellers.

The main thing for the survival of Pentax is to make sure they are profitable and have at least a reasonable market share, which is about 4-5% at the moment.

Do you think he is refering to Lance?

Possibly, but I've let the term down as there are many here with alot more 50's than I.

Can't match seven prime 50's so, the best I can do is:
A50mm f1.2
A50mm f1.4
FA50mm f1.4
FA50mm 2.8 macro

Add into that three zooms that cover 50mm, the DA17-70, and the DA*16-50 and the DA*50-135, I do believe I have 50mm well and truly covered as well.

My only other claim to fame is that I have 2 x 300mm lenses, the DA*300 f4 and the FA*300 f4.5.

LOL. Yes, the K9 may very well be a dog.

However, they may skip the K9 and go for a K10, oh, hang on a minute, we've already had a K10, so we've actually gone backwards.
