Man, look at that sky. The first shot is quite epic, city and suburbia.
Is there a viewin' area from that tower in the city, on the left side?

There are wonderful beaches to swim at all along this particular walk. On a summers day, it is really sensational to be able to just jump in and cool off.

Yes, the tower is called Centrepoint Tower and there is a brilliant view from up there as well as a revolving restaurant.

Yes, we definitely do take all this for granted. It really is an amazing view from up here.
We still have to do a meet up one day. What are your movements? I am free weekends or even through the week, if that is easier.

Thanks for the nice comments, Bob. Cracking blues on this series. The polariser doing it's job well. I wish it was bright enough here for a polariser !
I am a sucker for the saturated look that the polariser gives, like that of the slide film days of Kodachrome 64 etc.

Thanks Lance, We really should meet up. Been extremely busy at work so weekdays are out. My weekends are taken up with family at the moment. My daughter is expecting our first grandchild and the wife is fussing like a mad woman And my son is recovering from a motorcycle accident, badly broken leg
But I am off work for the month of November so maybe we can catch up then if that suits you. cheers

I took these on a walk from a place called "The Spit" to a beach suburb called Manly on the northern side of Sydney itself. About a 9km walk through mainly bush takes you on a route adjacent to the waters of Middle Harbour and is quite spectacular. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't done it.
All taken with the K-7 + DA17-70 and polariser. I am very impressed by the DA17-70.
