I was recently challenged to do some black and white pictures, and so chose some shots taken at Great Yarmouth a couple of years back. I was pleased with the results (despite it showing up some dust on my old K30 - oops)

Thanks for all of your replies. I'm going to experiment with taking filters off, and will not initially buy one for the new lens I have coming.

I am curious, as so many have had issues it seems. Could this be related to running older OS systems and slightly older, possibly slower PC's and Laptops?
For the record, I hate Lightroom, can't get on with it at all.

They have always been pretty good to me ... even gave me a refund on something that was out of it's warranty period.
Same. We ordered an outdoor storage shed last week, it arrived slightly broken, and it must have been too much bother for Amazon to take it back. Told me to keep it and sent me another. Can't complain.

The KP at 550 is a steal, but I've just bought a Nikon D7500 and Tamron 150 600 in the run up to the BF deals (I know, I know), so that's out of the question. Plus, it is Silver.

advice please
What John said, but also, pretty much every camera has the ability to add copyright to the exif data. It just needs to be set up.

I think it's a Pentax deal, as Clifton Cameras are also doing it.
Yes, but Clifton are not starting at £1,750 before taking the discount off - they are starting at £1,999.

Amazon's basket price of checkout is indeed £1400!!! Pity I have just spent £1300 on a new DFA150-450mm from SRS - which is a bargain anyway.
Ahh my bad, didn't spot that.
Yes it is. I got mine for £1100 last year, because there was £350 discount from Park on a special opening day, and Pentax were doing £150 off. They let me combine them. Utter result.

Certainly some very good deals indeed.
