Chartwell is one of my favourite places. I like 2 and 3. No 3 especially, I can imagine that the great man has just got out of that chair.

Nice shots Nigel.

No.6 ...looks like an Armadillo fell in and drowned.

I continue to be impressed by your F35-70.

Thanks Peter and Karlo Peter, yes, it is easy to imagine Churchill in the gardens as you go around, no doubt the tranquillity and beauty fuelled much productive thought.

Karlo, I hadn't noticed that Armadillo, I think they might be native to the Croydon wetlands ! And yes, the little F35-70 always comes through, although sadly it sees less light of day now since I got the D FA28-105 ......

There's a bit of '3D pop' about that last image. I wouldn't have ever guessed that it came from an 'ordinary' zoom lens!

Good job on these

Lovely mix of light and shade in no.6, armadillo or not. I like the composition too.

Nice scenes and great natural colours, Nigel.

Cheers.

(P.S. If it were mine, I would straighten the wide angle tilt in 5.)

You certainly squeeze some superb results out of your Samyang 14mm, Nigel. Top of the selection for me is No2, the figures look positively human. Needless to say, the other shots are pretty good, too.

Mike
