These descriptions sound like build plans for Arnie in the Terminator film series, except no one has yet mentioned the combat alloy.
Suspecting I do that from an alloy of kryptonite and dilithium it is made.

The Katzeye website lists for *istD, *istDs, *istDs2, *istDL, K100D, K1000D super, K110D and K200D. So these must also be changeable, but by whom I do not know.
Ask the camera specific question here on the forum, there are many more knowledgeable folk than me around here, who will be able to confirm for you.

Then have a look at some of the older Pentax lenses (primes tend to be faster) that are about on well known auction site.
Here a your money could buy one or two good lenses.
