Why don't you get a 10mm lens? It will give you the same coverage as your old 15 on a FF camera, but it will be cheaper than getting a FF camera. Your argument doesn't hold any more.
Sorry didn't know that Pentax did a 10mm prime, I'll look into that, as you can see from my sig I'm not a zoom user.

I want FF again, cos all my old school manual lenses cover FF format and my 15mm will become truly wide again.

Another vote I'm afraid for the Sandisk Extreme III cards

I use 8gb and lots of 'em, I also change frequently in use so that not all the eggs in the same basket. Having said that I've not had a failure yet..........................................................

If your images are important to you and mine are, the cards are the cheap bit when you consider the investment you have in the rest of your equipment. So buy the best and IMHO that's the Sandisk Extreme III

I read your comments, I used to be a PC man, until my daughter (doing Photography @ Edinburgh Uni) came home for the weekend with her Macbook Pro.

So I'm sorry to say now another vote here for the Macbook Pro range, I now luv mine to bits.

I could recommend the SMC Pentax-A 15mm F3.5 which is a rectilinear lens i.e. which still maintains relatively straight lines at the edges, which I find ideal this type of work.

It may not be the fastest kid on the block, but at F3.5 still quick enough to be hand held, but I always tripod mount for this work anyway.

Just bear in mind it is very wide on FF cameras but not so much on today’s DSLR’s.
