I am quite surprised that my K-X didn't come with a lens hood - i've looked on the internet and can't seem to find one - took some photos in Dorset over the weekend and got some lens flare - can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Another DSLR newbie question !
I fancy getting a polarizing filter for my k-x, i presume as the lens says 52mm on the front this is the size i need ?
Also can anyone recommend one ? The difference in price is amazing - from a few quid on ebay to £60 or £70 !

thanks folks some good stuff there - I use PTGui Pro for stitching panoramas - with mixed results !
Some good some rubbish - mind you have the problem I have is remembering which photos I have taken as panorama's !
Sorry Dangermouse what is an 28mm prime lens ? Do you mean fixed ? ANd I guess that is narrower than my 18-55 ?

I think that makes sense - I remember reading somewhere that my 18mm lens is about 27mm in compact terms - not sure whether this is true ?
