I've deleted them but most images are sharp and just need a quick tweak...
Reading the review of the k-r (which is very similar in image quality to the k-x) I can see what you are saying - I don't think there would be a dramatic difference...
I might think about upgrading lenses instead, which is where I started !

As i said could be user error and I will try being more careful and taking my time when taking pics.

I suppose I fancy something new - I have been very happy with my k-x apart from some focus issues which might be user error..

Difficult question with no right or wrong answer I know...
But - when do you think its time to upgrade a DSLR - and in particular a K-X which is 2 years old ?
How quickly does technology move on these days ? I'm just wondering whether the k-r would be an improvement or even another make - D3200 for eg as I am not tied into Pentax (although I've enjoyed my k-x)
thanks

No idea if its mk2 or not but I agree that it can produce some good images.
I will have a think before I buy...

John - I was hoping it would be a noticeably better lens - can you make any other suggestions ?
I would like something a zoom starting at between 16-18mm - well really i'd like a wider angle but just cant afford one.

Kata Grip 12 DL - Only a few months old - fits my K-X in it with an 18-55mm lens - room for a filter and cards but thats it. Comes with water proof cover too £20 posted
Also got a Crumpler Bens Pizza Bag XL - this is a few years old and its been well used but still in good condition. An excellent bag that will carry my K-X with 18-55 lens, 50-200 lens, lens hood and plenty more. £12 posted
Finally got a BNIB Lenspen Hurricane blower - an unwanted gift as I already had one - £7.50 posted
thanks all
