thats an impressive shot - not sure whether to go for one of them now instead of the 18-250 as they are a lot cheaper...

Hello
I'm looking at buying a Super zoom so would like to sell my kit lenses - these came with my K-x that i bought late last year.
Only been used on two holidays and they are in great condition - no boxes obviously.

I am a bit unsure about value and thought the post might get deleted if I didn't post a price so I'll ask £35 for the 18-55 and £65 for the 50-200.

I have had a problem with dust on the sensor since pretty much day one - its driving me mad !!
I change the lenses as instructed but still end up with dust that I have to remove with aperture.
I understand the advice about having interchangeable lenses is part of owning an SLR but at the moment I have come to 2 options..
Buy a superzoom or sell the SLR and go back to a bridge camera !

I am sure that this must have been discussed before but I wondered if any new products had come out...
I am looking to buy a superzoom - something like a 18-250. I have the 18-55 and a 50-200 but I'm getting a bit fed up with getting dust on the sensor - as I came from a bridge camera a superzoom seems like a good solution.

i agree about the third shot but i really took it just to see what the camera could do in low light - my old compact could never have produced that !

Still getting to grips with my k-x but i was impressed with it last weekend in London - the colours looked great (to my eyes) and the focus was sharp.
I know this are not good technically but sometimes not knowing how to do things correctly can bring interesting results !
This was taken in Pizza Express - with the standard kit lens and no flash - I was impressed !
