Bump! Super fast lens in great condition at a great price.....great when adapted for mirrorless cameras too, esp if they have focus peaking. A perfect portrait lens for m43?

Purchased on this forum a couple of years ago, this lens is the best condition Tamron 500/8 I've seen. Very well cared-for with only minor signs of careful use, it comes cased (case also in good condition) with hood, front and rear caps, spare rear cap, and includes the "normal" rear filter (an important part of the original design often missing from these lenses secondhand). No haze or fungus. I am also happy to include a Tamron PK adapter which will allow the lens to be used on any K bayonet camera including the latest dSLRs (manual focus and manual exposure only).

A great deal of fun if you're prepared to put some effort in learning how to get the best out of it, the lens is a cost-effective way of getting a 500mm lens for the occasional user, and also has surprisingly good macro/close focus ability.

I kept this lens after making a transition to mirrorless but sadly it has not been used much so needs to find a new home. Coming complete with Pentax front and rear lens caps, the lens is in lovely condition and works perfectly. No fungus, dents or scratches. Cosmetically superb and has only minor dust inside as expected with a lens of this age (and has no impact on image quality).

About as good an example as you are likely to find, and given it is an A rather than M mount allowing use of the Auto exposure modes in the camera, it works well as a portrait lens on APSC and is perhaps more likely to be useful (and maintain its value) if Pentax do bring out their FF at some point!

I agree - making the site easily accessible on mobile devices is essential nowadays and to have a design that only works well on computers and tablets is a bit out of date TBH. Hopefully this has been addressed?

Sold and paid for - thanks for looking. Jon

Does that mean you changed your mind about the colour, or you didn't quite get what you ordered? Enjoy the new camera - perfect time to go out for some Autumn ambles....
