Even for £3.99 I think this bag's too ugly.

Given that most if not all new cameras are chargeable over USB-C or micro-USB, which means they should charge from portable battery packs, this seems too late to be useful. I believe Canon is the only manufacturer whose cameras, while technically chargeable from USB-C, need a special charger to do so. Other makes can use a standard phone charger.

A Kiron 28/2 with A mode is rare indeed. I have the non-A version and it's a good performer and a pleasure to use.

2019 was a funny year with a lot of change for me. As my first full year with my daughter I produced a lot of photos of her, but share only a very few online, so most of my real personal favourites aren't here. I shot a lot of film but haven't managed to develop or scan any of it, so none of that is included and it remains to be seen what's in there.

I found it difficult to pick twelve photos which I consider stand out, instead they are more representative of what I did throughout the year and I wouldn't say that any of them I really regard as among the best I've produced.

Anyway, here are the twelve I chose. Photography highlights were a trip to Cantabria, another to Murcia, the Madrid zoo, the Segovia balloon festival (even though I could only attend the first morning) and ten days in Denmark. Most of these were shot on the K-3 but a few on the Fujifilm X-T20.

M and K are lens series, not differences in the mount. The mount is exactly the same.

I think some people think that K lenses topped when the Ms came along, but this wasn't the case. Some K lenses remained available if they had no M series equivalent. I think the longest-running one was the 28mm f/3.5 Shift which remained technically in production until 2004. Likewise the A 50mm f/1.2 remained available (as a special order I think) into the F and FA periods.

It's clearly a "K" lens rather than an "M".

I'd say it looks decent in the centre, poor outside of the centre but nothing surprising from such a lens that's over forty years old.

Flickr is a great place and I'd encourage anyone to use it, not only to see photos but also for discussions. Most groups don't have much in the way of discussions while others have a good forum. As I'm paying Pro I need to start using it as my online backup.

Back to £750 now with kit lens (which is cheaper than the camera on it's own).
