My twelve from 2019

2019 was a funny year with a lot of change for me. As my first full year with my daughter I produced a lot of photos of her, but share only a very few online, so most of my real personal favourites aren't here. I shot a lot of film but haven't managed to develop or scan any of it, so none of that is included and it remains to be seen what's in there.

I found it difficult to pick twelve photos which I consider stand out, instead they are more representative of what I did throughout the year and I wouldn't say that any of them I really regard as among the best I've produced.

Anyway, here are the twelve I chose. Photography highlights were a trip to Cantabria, another to Murcia, the Madrid zoo, the Segovia balloon festival (even though I could only attend the first morning) and ten days in Denmark. Most of these were shot on the K-3 but a few on the Fujifilm X-T20.

You get about a bit! Lovely set Jonathan, all well observed and executed with as has been mention a beautiful finale.

A wonderful set. Favourites for me are "Poppies" and "Balloon panorama"

A beautiful selection, well varied and wonderfully processed. All feel the right amount of warm and cosy and by no means overdone.

Impressive images and work. Great subject diversity.

As said above, an eclectic set. The last five work best for me, particularly Night Lights and Colours. And, of course, Mara.

Many thanks. We are trying not to let Mara limit our travels too much though some compromise is obviously needed - I think we might have been back to Japan, or perhaps elsewhere in Asia, otherwise but I don't think a fourteen hour flight is a good place for an infant
