Thanks very much for this "heads up", Harris. I have been thinking of buying a "messenger" type bag for a while to keep my prime lenses in. I read your post yesterday, ordered one of these bags and it's just arrived. Amazing!
Regards,
Mike

I followed your tip and also ordered one, which arrived today.
This is a great bag and a fabulous bargain.
If they've still got some- get one !

I found exactly the same when pricing up to sell (which you subsequently bought, Haris)!
That being said, I've still gone ahead and ordered one because my current little camera bag holds the K-70 and a small lens. Can't get anything else in there so why not have an intermediate-sized bag?

Just got mine.
Noticed the k70 was £399 seemed a good deal body only.

But SRS are still selling the K-70 at [link=https://www.srsmicrosystems.co.uk/pentax-k-70-camera-body.html]£359[/link] - and free P&P if you call and tell them that you post on PentaxUser
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Didn't need another bag, didn't even want another bag, but at that price it would have been silly to ignore it (£39-99 on Ricoh website but out of stock) . Trying to rationalise the purchase, it fills a gap between holster for SLR + lens and rucksack for SLR + several lenses/sandwiches/kitchen sink. And as my 4 year old grand-daughter would say, you can never have too many bags (and she's an expert on bags).
Steve
PS: Are you getting commission for these sales, HarisF1??

If I was getting commission for this I doubt I'd even be able to buy a Freddo!

Nylon can be dyed though? Get yourself a hot pink one?

I didn't really need another small bag either but I bought it anyway. I really need to replace my rucksack tho... And preferably before I next fly somewhere.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

We ordered two, one for me and one for Sue. At £3.99 each including first class postage it's hard to see where we can go wrong.
It's also a Pentax/Ricoh branded item, not just a bag with Pentax written on it.
Do we need another bag? Probably not, but I like these odd manufacturer's bag offerings. I'm still on the lookout for a Speedbag M and a Speedbag (Std, not M) plus the large leather outfit case from the 1970s/1980s.

A Google search of the Speedbag shows you've been searching for it for 13 years

I've got both black and white versions of this bag and I've managed to fit the following (tightly) in the black version:
Pentax KP, FA77, DA18-135, DA40XS (as body cap), DA15, FA31 with spare battery, SD card and caps.
There's a good amount of usable space in there and it's fairly secure. Not as snug as some because of the flappy lid but it was fine for a few hectic days in Marrakech.
Let me know if you purchase
