Bought one earlier this month from Amazon for use with my Ltds. Nice little camera. Great results. With a 40 on it will easily slip into a (largish) pocket.
The grip is slightly awkward at first, but it's just a matter of changing the way you hold the camera. Little finger just slides/rests under the camera.
Lack of second control wheel not an issue, as I tend to shoot either in A or S depending upon the subject, so once I've decided what I'm shooting and set the camera up for it it's no big deal.

I wonder if this technology will/can port to DSLR's?
See here for results.

Cannot begin to mention how many of them I've seen fail.
The only 50-135 I've ever seen is mine, and it works great. Never seen a 16-50.

...I will be mainly capturing buildings, through my urban exploration, but I do like the odd candid shot too...
A Pentax 12-24 (superb lens) or the Sigma 10-20 (no personal experience but owners seem to love it) would be more versatile. Or, for a bit of weirdness at the 10mm end, but good WA performance therafter, the Pentax 10-17.

It supports streaming, but you'll need to confirm with StarTech that it will take the real-time HDMI output from the camera and allow it to be viewed on a laptop screen via a USB3 port.
They also do one for USB2, but again you'll need to check with StarTech. http://www.ebuyer.com/604014-startech-usb-2-0-hd-pvr-gaming-and-video-capture-de...
The USB2 version is sub-£100 (by 1p) at dabs.com:
