For sale Pentax K10D in absolutely pristine condition complete with all original accessories, boxed. Also included 4GB Transcend SDHC card, class 6. Camera has been owned by me since new and kept as a backup to my K20D, original receipt included. All the original accessories are included, the strap is unused, the box is slightly soiled as it's been kept in my garage. Latest firmware, flawless operation, clean viewfinder and sensor, Shutter count 3,266. Asking £250 ovno. Would consider a swap + cash for a good K20D, pictures to follow if interested.

Most modern screens and all Pentax screens are made for slow lenses and regardless of what lens you put on the camera, you only see the equivalent of f/2.4. Only Canon make a screen for use with fast lenses of f/1.2 etc.

I'm sorry but this is just plain wrrrrrong ! I bought MF Cosina 55/1.2 and K50/1.2 to use at F1.2 ! Achieving accurate focus is slightly more difficult than at say f2 but with the nice bright viewfinder that a 1.2 or 1.4 gives you, and a custom screen (though one of my K5s has the stock screen and it's still not a problem), finding accurate focus isn't that difficult.

No one has suggested that Nikon drop FF cameras such as the
D700, although it is 3.5 years old and a replacement doesn't
seem to be a priority

Just ordering a few little extras now for the K5 and I`m trying to find a rear LCD glass protector but there does not seem to be many about!, found this on Amazon but it doesn't say its specifically for the k5, basically will any 3" protectors fit ok? link
