Now the battery is fully charged I`m having a play around with with the K5.

I have sussed most basic things up to now but I cant find how to get the depth of field preview to show in the viewfinder!. any pointers would be most appreciated.
Cliff.

Either you carry that manual around with you Alan or you know it off by heart

Thanks for the fast reply I`ll do some more studying.

Seems an age since I got my K5, I cant remember if digital preview is the default setting or not, if it is then it would have been one of the first things I changed.

One thing that stumped me was how to set the HDR capture, took me ages to figure out that I couldn't set it while shooting RAW hence the reason the manual is always to hand.

Yes digital is the default setting for dof preview Alan.

I think the manual may find a place in my camera bag for the time being as the K5 is just a tad more complicated than the GX10 Comment Image

Just ordering a few little extras now for the K5 and I`m trying to find a rear LCD glass protector but there does not seem to be many about!, found this on Amazon but it doesn't say its specifically for the k5, basically will any 3" protectors fit ok? link

Geez that's expensive. Iv been using a stick on protector that cost about £2.50. Try searching for "Pentax K-5 Screen protector". First one that comes up.
