For sale is my 28-105 Power zoom, generally regarded as one of the better 28-105's out there in Pentax land. It's optically and mechanically flawless, external signs of use, comes complete with both genuine lens caps, Hoya HMC 58mm UV(0) filter and aftermarket screw on hood which works well. Power zoom function is fully working, features depend on the camera body in use but basic zoom functions work on Pentax DSLR's.

I've replied to some of the PM's and will reply to others ASAP. I'm still trying to come up with some prices on some of the K series lenses. I'll try my best to get photos up at the weekend.

I've been looking through my lenses this morning and cannot find the A 35-105, I can only assume I've sold it sometime previously, my sincere apologies to all concerned. (I've had 2 offers)

I have a SMC Pentax 28-105 Power Zoom in full working order and vgc if there's any interest, c/w 58mm Hoya HMC UV filter and screw on hood.

Also for sale Teleplus Pz-AF 2x MC7 Teleconverter, optically perfect, fully working, mint- with both original caps. DOES NOT DO SDM! but will work in screw drive AF.

Thanks to many for their kind words.

Due to the fact that I am, according to Mr Cameron, the lowest form of life; being both working class and public sector. I find it necessary to sell some equipment to pay the bills, I'm listing the following to gauge interest and will supply images of the equipment if there are any enquiries. Most of the equipment is either Mint- or Excellent++ and often cased with a dedicated lens hood, some quite rare items!

I realise I haven't posted for some considerable time, please accept my apologies, I've had some rather difficult financial and domestic problems. All items are from my personal collection of Pentax equipment dating back many years and have been very well looked after during that time,

If you need any recommendation of my honesty as a seller then please look up my Ebay account: johnpentax you can message me and I'll reply as proof of ownership of the account!

I'm offering the items here first rather than resorting to Ebay, where if there's no interest they will inevitably end up, no doubt. I'll be back on line tomorrow to answer any queries.

OK enough ranting:

SMC PENTAX – 1:3.5 18mm

Nice one Cliff, last one from me, I'll confess to removing the top of a large modern building

It was a very enjoyable day, all the more so for the great company of David, Barry and yourself Cliff. I was struggling a little with the harsh light and as you know, I don't really do stations

Anyway, here's a few of mine:

A sad loss, I only met John a couple of times but he was fine bloke, down to earth and a real character. My condolences go to his family.

Hasnt stopped Nikon with the D3200 and Sony with the NEX7 and Alpha range. The D7000 is as old as the K5 (mark 1!)so any D8000 may have higher MP count. Pentax will go 16mp + on APSC at some point I reckon. Primarily because the miopic amongst us regard more MP as better. Sad but true.
Ah well, I'll spend my money on more glass, more pixels are totally futile IMHO unless of course you make a bigger sensor. With 36x24mm you could go to 36mp (or even 40mp if you had lenses that were sharp all the way to the edge:lol
