Hi Mat, thanks for the comment, plenty of butterflies and bees around here for a week of so, last year the first 4 Spotted Chaser I saw was on the 23rd of May, so probably 2 weeks early or there abouts this year. The weather's been glorious but apparently we're getting rain tomorrow and Friday in the NW.

Regards,

John

I caught a couple of fleeting glimpses of Dragonflies Sunday while out at Rixton, Monday afternoon I ventured out to Risley Moss for a couple of hours, it's one of my favourite spots when time is a bit limited. Taking the Tamron Di 90/2.8 with me to see what I could get and these are some of the results C&C welcome.

Butterfly, just for good measure, Cabbage White?

Looks like the Damsels & Dragons came early this year.

Like the geese photos. i am a little bit surprised that they were taken from a K20d, rather than a K5.
Why?

That sounds like a plan, my SO won't go on the back of it, no idea why at least I'd have a bit of peace and quiet
