I find adverts as annoying as anyone (maybe should look into an ad blocker after all...) but I suppose at least they're probably helping to keep the site running!

Truly stunning work! The Lake District is surely one of the most naturally gorgeous landscapes in the country, lovely to see it captured so tastefully.

I love the earthy tones in the first photo - especially the bark of the tree in the foreground and the leaves in the background. Great work!

Very interesting, I guess it's easy to judge a book by its cover. It's funny how Aldi and Lidl seem to have a reputation for lower quality in the UK (although that's changing a little) - a friend in Germany doesn't understand it. Over there the attitude there's far less prejudice about them. Thanks for the tip, sounds like a great bargain.

That sounds like an amazing prospect! If there's one thing I most struggle to get right it's snapping in low-level light... not a unique problem though, granted!

Hi all, I'm Ben, nice to e-meet everyone. I'm kind of new to the SLR game, so I thought I'd drop in and see if I can learn a few things!
