I wish that was winter at my place. Right now, there is about 45cm. of snow on the ground here. It's less than average for this time of the year, but it's still a pain...

Even better viewed on Flickr at the larger size, I love the subdued late winter/early spring look and colours in the first one, and the delicate sharpness of the first snowdrops photo is excellent What lens did you use on the Snowdrop photos, is it a Pentax A 85mm?

Excellent shots, the first one is right up my street. What I notice is the colours - natural and saturated, but not overdone.

thanks for the comments. Lennybloke, the lens for the close up shots was the Tamron Adaptall 2 52BB 90mm f2.5 Macro. using it quite a bit as doing a 52 on Flickr based on subjects taken from the Macro Edition of the Lightbox Photography Cards.

Wow, very nice. The first one almost looks like a painting.

Very nice indeed.

Has been raining here for days and from what the long range weather forecast says it's likely to carry on quite a few more yet.
No equipment list here but thanks for taking an interest. My Flickr

That's cheered me up, can't wait for spring. As other have said, lovely saturated colours tastefully done.

The colours are gorgeous. You must have got quite wet taking the macros
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I love the earthy tones in the first photo - especially the bark of the tree in the foreground and the leaves in the background. Great work!
