The obvious answer is to log in and stay logged in. Then you don't need to log in every time you visit the forum.
Google Ads are just trying to show you adverts that are connected with your interests. There are probably Ad Blockers you could use, but some have suggested they may not be a great idea in themselves.

On my desktop computer the adblocker works fine but not on my ipad. It just struck me it would be offputting to non members.

I use the Opera web browser on a Windows PC. The very first item in the Settings menu is "Block Ads". When that is selected, it appears to work quite effectively.

I have always used Adblocker from goolge,never had a problem with it.

I am not to bothered about ads. but I welcomed one today. It was a one from Amazon which showed a micro wave I purchased from John Lewis four weeks ago over forty pounds cheaper. I checked JL and it had also been reduced, a quick phone call and they refunded the difference.

I find adverts as annoying as anyone (maybe should look into an ad blocker after all...) but I suppose at least they're probably helping to keep the site running!
