I can't comment on the Lidl paper, but a couple of years ago I bought an A4 pack of 200gsm glossy paper from Aldi. I printed off two pictures, one on the Aldi paper and one on 275gsm Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy. I took both of them to my camera club. I laid them out on the table and asked members to choose which they thought was the Aldi paper and which was the Canon. Some guessed right and some guessed wrong, but all agreed it was really guesswork. Obviously if they had handled the paper the Canon was thicker, but for print quality result there appeared no difference.

i would imagine the Lidl paper is pretty good as well.

Very interesting, I guess it's easy to judge a book by its cover. It's funny how Aldi and Lidl seem to have a reputation for lower quality in the UK (although that's changing a little) - a friend in Germany doesn't understand it. Over there the attitude there's far less prejudice about them. Thanks for the tip, sounds like a great bargain.

I've used the Lidl paper quite a lot with a Canon printer and always found the print quality to be excellent, ok it's not as thick as some papers but image quality is first rate
